Assessment

There are different types of assessment within a faculty. The common types are:

• exam (written or oral): lectures specify their requirements at the beginning of the course. If a student fails an exam, he/she can take it once more. If he/she does not pass the exam, there is a possibility to take exam (egzamin komisyjny) in front of a commission (lecturer, another specialist from this subject, dean of the faculty)
• signature-pass (zaliczenie) or fail (niezaliczenie)
