Meetings with Asian visitors
On November 28, 2018, Poznan University of Technology was visited by representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Poland: Sudong Jiang, Counselor for Science and Technology and Dongbo Guo, 2nd Secretary for Science and Technology.
During the meeting, topics related mainly to Polish-Chinese cooperation were discussed; all the university's activities in this area were presented, and the strategies of aspirations for the next years in the field of science and research, academic and student exchange were considered.
The visit ended with a presentation of the Poznan University of Technology.
On November 27, 2018, PUT hosted a 2-person delegation from the Nagoya Institute of Technology-NITech (Japan) composed of: Yoshifumi Morita -Organization for Co-Creation Research and Social Contributions and Miyuki Kanda- International Affairs Office.
The purpose of the visit was to continue cooperation in the field of information science and to explore the possibilities of its extension. After the presentations of both universities and their educational offer, a discussion was made regarding the possibility of exchanging students and employees under the Erasmus+ programme.
Poznan University of Technology is the only university in Poland with which the Japanese side has established cooperation.
