The Faculty of Chemical Technology has existed for over 50 years. It employs 46 independent researchers (professors and habilitated doctors, including 2 correspondent members of the Polish Academy of Sciences and 15 professors).
A special advantage of studying at the Faculty of Chemical Technology is combining theoretical knowledge with laboratory and technological practice. Our students learn the principles of conducting technological processes as well as their implementation in industry. In addition, numerous projects allow them to develop teamwork skills, whereas knowledge of specialist English enables effective communication with technologists from various industries.
The field of Chemical Technology was created for people who want to be a bridge between chemists and engineers, combining their skills and an interdisciplinary view on industrial processes. This major is also implemented in English. Chemical and Process Engineering students are improving their skills in the design of new and modernizing existing installations for conducting technological processes. Studies in the field of Environmental Protection Technologies allow a better understanding of how to control industrial processes in the context of environmental protection. The field of Pharmaceutical Engineering prepares students for efficient movement at the interface between engineering, technology and pharmaceutical sciences.
During their studies, students may take advantage of programs enabling them to undergo internships in Poland and abroad and to carry out studies at partner universities under the Erasmus+ program or the activities of the IAESTE association.
