The Best Global Universities ranking has been published by the American news magazine U.S. News & World Report since 2014.

In this year's edition, 1. 700 universities from all over the world were assessed.

The universities were evaluated based on research results and the evaluation of members of the academic community.

As part of the national competition, the Poznan University of Technology was ranked 20th. Therefore it belongs to 15% of the best Polish public universities.
