The latest results of the international THE World University Rankings 2024 by Subject ranking have been published, and they classified the Poznan University of Technology among the best universities in the world in four thematic areas.

• Business and Economics (in the range of 601-800), 
• Computer Science (in the range of 801-1000), 
• Engineering (in the range of 801-1000), 
• Physical Sciences (in the range of 801-1000)

The WUR by Subject ranking assesses universities in 11 areas with five indicators: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, International Outlook and Industry ( Industry).
