On the 12th of November, during the Polish Senior Karate Championships, organized in Karpacz, Wojciech Niedziela became the Polish Champion in the individual kata competition.
“Kata is assessed on a point basis. When assessing a kata, the judges take into account: the technical correctness of the kata's movements, their order, the continuation of techniques, the pace characteristic of each kata, and the interpretation of the use of individual kata techniques”.
Wojtek is a student in a Computer science program, combining studies with training at the MUKS Dynamic Karate Academy club. He is also a member of the karate section of the Poznan University of Technology.
