Social and Rector scholarships for students

Regulation No. 19 From the Rector of Poznan University of Technology of 24 September 2019 (RO / IX / 19/2019)on the introduction of the regulations for the award of benefits to students of Poznan University of Technology

Terms and Conditions of granting benefits to students of Poznan University of Technology.

On the 18th of April 2020 with the entry into force of the law on specific support instruments in relation to the spread of SARS-CoV - 2, there have been made changes to the benefits system for students and Ph.D. students.

During the epidemic, the grants are not limited to two per academic year only – it means that a student can apply for a grant at his/her university every time when his/her life situation has become worse, for example, due to the loss of a source of income by a student or a member of his/her family.

Applications for financial support are dealt with in a simplified mode - in accordance with the rules of benefits for students.

In the summer semester of 2019/2020, due to the difficult situation in many families, the regulation on social scholarship, scholarship for persons with disability, and grants were abolished, under which these benefits are granted for a period of study not exceeding 6 years. It means that financial support can be provided to those students who have had a period of 6 years from the start of their studies and therefore they would not apply for these benefits.

By the 30th of September, 2020, there is no obligation to attach to the application for a social scholarship a certificate about social assistance center on the income and property situation of a family by a student whose monthly income does not exceed PLN 528 per person in the family. The University, based on other available documents, will verify the material situation of a student.

Scholarship applications for students should be submitted electronically via the eStudent system.
