ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 28TH OF MAY 2020 - POSSIBILITY OF RE-ACCOMMODATION
From 1.06.2020 we are restoring the possibility of accommodation to the Student House for its earlier residents.
This applies only to:
- Students / doctoral students who will find themselves on the aggregate application of the Deans containing a list of people who must complete stationary didactic classes. Information is sent to the Head of the Housing Estate and is prepared on the basis of letters from dean's offices.
- Students and residents who have a valid document confirming employment in Poznań or the surrounding area. The document should be presented once at the Housing Estate Manager's office to confirm the necessity of residence.
Students and residents (included in points 1. or 2.), who want to stay in the Student House for the holiday period are obliged to contact the Head of their Student House individually.
All people who are not affected by the above mentioned situations are required to check out from the Student House by 30/06/2020. Otherwise, a daily fee equal to 1/15 of the monthly rent will be charged.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 8TH OF MAY 2020 - Plan to resume sporting life in Poland
Lifting sport restrictions. From 18 May we have introduced new rules for the use of sports fields and facilities. How many people can train on the field?
Defrosting sport. New rules for the use of sports facilities from May 18. As part of the third stage of loosening restrictions, the Ministry of Sport presents new obligations and recommendations. The main changes concern the opening of sports halls and the increased number of people exercising in sports facilities. Athletes still have to comply with stringent sanitary regulations. What has changed in sport since Monday, May 18?
Defrosting sport in Poland - the third stage - from May 18
From Monday, May 18, restrictions on training at sports facilities will be loosened. The most important change concerns the opening of the halls, which is a godsend for athletes training in such facilities. In contrast, players practicing outdoors will be able to conduct training in larger groups and with more trainers.
The limits of people using a given object depend on its area.

Another significant change is the increase in the number of athletes training in open facilities to 14 people. Two trainers can now run such classes.
What facilities can more people train from May 18?
- sports stadiums,
- open and semi-open pitches (school, multi-functional, Orlik type),
- external infrastructure for motor and air sports,
- ski jumps,
- open archery tracks,
- open roller skating tracks
- open cycling tracks (including mountain biking),
- open paintball facilities
- open roller tracks,
- open skateparks,
- open go-kart tracks.
From May 18, 22 athletes and 4 coaches will be able to stay on the full-size football field. You will also be able to divide the full-size pitch into two parts (with a 5-meter buffer zone). In this configuration, 16 people and 3 coaches will be able to stay on each half at the same time.
In the case of open shooting ranges - no more than half of the shooting positions and one trainer will be allowed on one shooting axis.
From Saturday, May 16, the horse and dog racetracks will resume operation, but without public participation.
In the case of water sports - as many people as possible are allowed on the given unit (as per the documentation of the specific watercraft). Social distances and the obligation to cover the nose and mouth in marinas, marinas, tracks, lifts, etc. still apply.
Safety rules for outdoor sports facilities
- maintaining social distance,
- the obligation to cover the face (when you reach a given sports facility, while on e.g. a pitch you are not obliged to cover your face),
- verification of participants (reporting the number of people entering the facility to the manager),
- disinfection of devices after each use and each group,
- mandatory hand disinfection for people entering and leaving the facility or using personal training equipment or disinfection after each use,
- no possibility to use the cloakroom and the bathroom (except toilet).

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 24TH OF APRIL 2020 - EXTENSION OF THE LIMITATION OF THE UNIVERSITY'S ACTIVITY
Until May 24, 2020, the limitation of the university's activities was extended. According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, classes at this time should take place remotely. Scientific research is still not suspended.

CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK – SPECIAL SOLUTIONS FOR FOREIGNERS
In connection with the current epidemiological situation, on 31 March 2020 came into force an act providing, inter alia, special solutions for foreigners in Poland. The regulations will allow people who want to pursue their current purpose of stay or cannot leave Poland due to the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus to stay legally in the country.

URGENT UPDATE ABOUT "EPIDEMIC STATE" IN POLAND
Starting from March 24 till April 11 the government introduced restrictions on movement out of permanent place of stay - with the only exceptions for shopping, going for a walk and going to work. Other limitations will be introduced in urban transport - number of available places will be limited to number of seats in given bus/tram. It is banned to have meetings of more than 2 people. Police will be monitoring enforcement of the new regime.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 21ST OF MARCH, 2020 - FUNCTIONING OF THE UNIVERSITIES IN POLAND SUSPENDED TO APRIL 10, 2020

Ordinance No. 14 of the Rector of Poznan University of Technology of 11 March 2020 (RO/III/14/2020) on preventing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus among members of the Poznan University of Technology community.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 4TH OF MARCH, 2020
In connection with the epidemiological situation caused by Covid-19 coronavirus, Prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Vice-Rector for LLL and international education, decided that students of the Poznan University of Technology returning from China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Taiwan, who stayed in these countries in February 2020 as well as foreign exchange students, Erasmus+ students and full-degree students coming from these countries are exempted from participation in classes and other activities for 2 weeks from the date of arrival on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The absence will be justified on the basis of a travel document confirming entry to Poland.
