3rd 3W Congress - summary

On November 27-28, the major meeting of experts in the field of water, hydrogen and elemental carbon technologies in Poland and this part of Europe took place in Warsaw!

At the 3rd 3W Congress, various topics were discussed such as how to execute the mission of constructing a 3D ecosystem, the progress and challenges of the 3D sector, and the direction of technological advancements pertaining to water, hydrogen, and coal.

The 3rd 3W Congress was attended by a strong representation of the Poznan University of Technology, including, among others, the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Vice-rector for Development and Cooperation with Industry and Business, prof. Michał Wieczorowski, Leader of the 3W Interdisciplinary Centre prof. Łukasz Klapiszewski, Chancellor of the Poznan University of Technology Łukasz Kalupa, PhD and a significant group of specialists from our University.

Scientists representing the university participated in several lectures, panels, sessions and workshops, sharing their knowledge and experiences in the field of 3W.

Additionally, in the 3W Competition for the best bachelor's, master's and engineering thesis on water, hydrogen and carbon, organized by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Mr. Marcel Jakubowski, representing the Faculty of Chemical Technology, won first place in the master's theses category!

We would like to underline that the Poznan University of Technology, together with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, co-founded the 3W Interdisciplinary Innovation Centre operating under the 3W Idea and is dynamically involved in activities related to the broadly understood and developed issues of water, hydrogen and coal.
