Rector's letter to the Academic Community

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Christmas and New Year season is already over. I do hope that all of us spent this special time of the year in health, peace, and a good atmosphere. We are slowly returning to our duties, hoping that we will no longer have to isolate ourselves.

The temporary switch to the remote form of didactic classes expires, and we will return to the previous rules introduced by Ordinance No. 36 of September 1, 2021, and Ordinance No. 41 of September 30, 2021.

Therefore, from January 7, 2022, the previously adopted rules for counteracting the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus will be restored. It is still necessary to maintain responsible behaviour, mainly by exercising special care recommendations, following the principle of distance-disinfection-mask, and adapting to the current sanitary recommendations.

Additionally, I strongly encourage all members of our community to vaccinate, which is considered to be the most effective form of combating infectious diseases.
