INFRASTRUCTURE OVER 500 THOUSAND ZLOTY

Investments serving the needs of scientific research in the field of strategic research infrastructure was co-financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2014-2017

Modernization and development of the laboratory of the Institute of Building Structures at the Poznań University of Technology for testing high-value materials (PLN 1,561,000)

The proposed programme of tests with the use of the apparatus:

• Development of theoretical modelling, computer simulations and experimental studies of a new type of high-performance concrete

• Localization of plastic deformations in the dynamically loaded specimen

• Research on the behaviour of biomechanical systems

• Computer-aided laboratory experiment

• Identification of parameters of constitutive models

• Defining constitutive models with the use of fractional order calculus

• Large-scale modelling of heterogeneous composite materials

System of analyzers for the identification and analysis of pollution from means of transport

( PLN 3,200,000)

The proposed programme of tests with the use of the apparatus:

• Identification of toxic compounds in exhaust gases from road vehicle engines in real operation conditions

• Research and chemical analysis of toxic exhaust emissions from road vehicle engines in real operation conditions

• Research and chemical analysis of toxic exhaust emissions from engines with the use of a dynamometer test

• Research on the emission of toxic exhaust gases and energy consumption of various means of urban transport

• Research and chemical analysis of the emission of toxic compounds in exhaust gases from off-road vehicle engines in real operation conditions

• Research and chemical analysis of toxic exhaust emissions from aircraft engines

• Research and chemical analysis of the emission of toxic compounds in exhaust gases from the engines of seagoing vessels and inland navigation

Otos-Robotic - a robotic system using a spatial location (PLN 570,000)

The proposed programme of tests with the use of the apparatus:

• Analysis of the robot's ability to interact with the location system.

• Analysis of the kinematics of a robot working in the operating room environment while supporting otolaryngological surgery.

• Analysis and identification of susceptible elements using vision cameras and touch sensors.

• Development and implementation of new robot control algorithms supporting surgeons during the removal of pathological intracranial processes.

• Analysis of using the Otos-Robotic system for laryngological endoscopic procedures (including endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses in chronic paranasal sinusitis, endoscopic surgery of the paranasal sinuses and base of the anterior and middle skull, endoscopic surgery of the middle ear).

SkyLab observation system (PLN 1,384,000)

The programme of scientific research or development works with the use of apparatus:

• Evaluation in real conditions of the behavior of the mechanical structure of a robotic assembly subjected to changing weather conditions

• Real-world evaluation of the proposed multi-level and modular robotic assembly control system

• Development of programming tools enabling the tracking of artificial Earth satellites using robotic assembly

• Acquisition systems of astronomical image
